We are registered and approved with HCPC, ICO and BAAT in regards to ethics, consent, confidentiality and GDPR.
Confidentiality
All client sessions will be conducted in the strictest confidence except in the following cases:

Any records and statistics we maintain about clients are kept securely and subject to the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
We regard the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as crucial to operation and to maintaining confidence between us and our clients/supervisees. We will ensure that we treat personal information lawfully and correctly.
This policy applies to the processing of personal data in manual and electronic records kept by us about clients/supervisees. It also covers our response to any data breach and other rights under the GDPR.
Data Security
All staff are aware that hard copy personal information should be kept in a locked filing
cabinet, drawer, or safe.
All staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities when their role involves the processing of data, are ICO registered and have signed a Non Disclosure Agreement where necessary.

- Where the client gives consent for confidence to be broken;
- Where the therapist is compelled by a court of law to break the confidence;
- Where the therapist believes that there is a serious risk to the client or someone else;
- In the event of the therapist being unable to work, an allocated colleague will contact you directly (living will).
