I'll be adding to it in the coming weeks and months.
This is a 'tech handbook' for during the coronavirus outbreak. It is an open document started by psychologists and has a wealth of information useful to people working in the health sector but also for those with time to browse.
There are plenty of links to follow and useful information in there. If you have expertise to share you can add to it!
For remote sessions Signal https://www.signal.org/ is secure and free, it functions like whatsapp but is open source with end to end encryption and zoom https://zoom.us/ is a popular alternative to Skype for therapists.
Hello, in the coming weeks I'll be setting up more online services and resources. I'll link to them from this blog.
Occasionally people have asked to pay me something for resources that are not with the usual charge, if you have found SA&T useful and would like to make a payment, that can now be done here: paypal.me/leeasimmons
Feedback on what is most helpful and you would like to see more of is welcome, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
At SA&T and EMDR.London I'm mainly working remotely for a while. Therapy sessions and supervision are available over Signal, Skype and telephone during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Existing bookings remain in place other than training courses, which are postponed, future dates are yet to be set.
I've been able to respond rapidly as already had time off booked and cancelled the trip, so will instead prepare to work without people having to travel to their sessions.
This can work, I already have clients around the world in therapy using the internet and several long term supervision arrangements also using Skype and Signal.
For more information email Lee@socialarttherapy.com or check https://emdr.london/availability/ for sessions and resources, more will be added in the coming weeks.
