Workshops at Doctors of the World (DOTW) Bethnal Green, London, took place with two sessions, of two hours, two weeks apart. Jennifer Hall and I worked together on this, and it was pleasure. I have added my early notes to this site; in the near future the resources we used / created will also be available.
A team building training that I contributed to this month was with 3 Minute Mile, in their work with a fashion team. I supported the team in absorbing their feedback through two art exercises that encouraged thinking about ones place in the team and identifying resources in the workplace to help meet the objectives. We met at the Hospital Club, London.
Over the next month I will be adding Social Art & Therapy related reports and research I have undertaken or been part of to this website. For the time being they can be accessed here. I had a great chat with Design and Co and relished a cuppa in their new Bristolian office. They helped me reflect on what I have done so far with SA&T, and my efforts to keep the company separate from my art practice.
How much social, how much art, and how much therapy will happen in 2016 remains to be seen. At the moment it is about 20% social, 30% art and 50% therapy.
SA&T Limited is generally open for appointments from 8am - 8pm. This means I get a wonderful chunk of time during the day to be creative with, whilst being available for therapy sessions before and after the typical work day. Availability is often displayed on zesty, but not always as it needs updating every two weeks, so do enquire directly.
From 23rd December 2015 to 3rd January 2016 SA&T will be closed, and looking forward to a collaborative year ahead.
Best wishes for the festive season, and for 2016.
PS. If you find Christmas hard, remember you are not alone. For many it is terrible! Just get through to the other side one step at a time and avoid the adverts wherever you can.
